Mickey says:
This week Tango and I visited The Puck. If you are 21 or older, this is the place for you. With a Coyote Ugly feeling, sports bar, and 39 televisions, every indulgence is covered. The help is memorable, the food is spectacular, and the interactive trivia game fulfills your mental hunger and competitive spirit. The appetizers are wonderful and the rest of the entrée is just as good. I was not hungry when I left and considering we were the only inhabitants when we arrived, the atmosphere was still playful and jovial.

The movie “Something about Charlie” was a whole other experience. Filmed in Europe, the film did not live up to my expectations. The plot and story line were fine, however the filming left me feeling like I’d just stepped off my seventh ride of the Tidal Wave at Lagoon. The actors have all been in relatively good movies before so I was surprised at the ineptness of this movie to capture and retain my attention. I would recommend the movie only to those with nothing better to do.

Tango says:
“The Truth about Charlie” is a remake of the classic Audrey Hepburn movie “Charade.” Charlie is a strange character, secretive and dangerous. He meets the man who has been hunting him down while getting off the Train, then disappears. Enter Thandie Newton, who plays Audrey Hepburn’s part complete with delicate British accent. Overall the movie was entertaining. The plot is solid, with enough twists to keep you in the story. However, the movie doesn’t take itself seriously as it introduces odd characters with musical numbers at times.

The Puck is an awesome place to hang out. With the guise of being a bar, but the atmosphere of a college dorm room, The Puck is an interactive adventure worth every penny. I ordered a common favorite this time, Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo, which was delicious. Games of Trivia can be played on several TV’s in the bar. Warning: the trivia game gets fierce and is extremely addicting, especially when you beat the people you’re playing with so badly you end up seventh on the bar’s all time players’ list.
