Some may call it "amazing." Others will call it "incredible" and this summer's biggest box office "smash." I, on the other hand, haven't found the one word to describe what Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen brings to the table.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen (aka: Transformers 2) begins right where the action left off. Sam (Shia LaBeouf) is back and fighting for his and humanity's life along side his now girlfriend, Mikaela (Megan Fox) as a new war takes place between the Decepticons and the Autobots to find the remains of an entombed piece of the Allspark.

Revenge of the Fallen is a thrill ride you won't find anyplace else. The newest addition to the Transformers franchise is packed with more metal smashing action than you could ever imagine. You will literally be on the edge of your seat (as a lot of people in the theater were), watching the carnage and total destruction that unfolds as Optimus Prime, along with Bumblebee and a few new Autobots, race to fend off the evil Decepticons from destroying the earth.

This movie features the entire cast from the original Transformers, which makes it easy to get sucked back into Transformer nation. Megan Fox is as stunning as ever, lighting up the big screen with her bright blue eyes, and her amazing set of….acting skills. John Turturro (Agent Simmons) steals quite a few scenes with his ability to turn even the most dangerous situations into hilarious ones and Shia LaBeouf dominates on camera, using his knack for making what seems fake as real as ever.

Revenge of the fallen is purely a film that is fun, energetic, and heart pounding. There seems to be too many critics out there that just can't wrap their heads around the fact this movie is based on a childhood toy, not a real life situation. For critics to give a movie like this 1 star is just mind-boggling and you know who you are. Watch this movie for what it is, not what it isn't. Don't go in to this movie expecting Academy Award performances, you won't find any here. If you are looking for a release from these depressing times and just want to see all-out annihilation, placed around a good plot and a hot body (yes I mean you Megan Fox), then this is the film you've been yearning to see.

My advice is to find your inner child, sit back, hold on tight and enjoy the ride of this summer's biggest hit. While you're at it, try and find a way to sum it up in one word, that is, if you can pick your jaw up off the ground long enough to describe it.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is rated PG-13 for intense Sci-Fi action violence, language, some crude and sexual material, and brief drug material. Running time is 2 hours and 31 minutes long.
