Uncovering myths: Entering the Indian culture

Get a taste of Asia and step into the Indian culture, literally, with tasty appetizers as well as arts and crafts displays. Take a closer, factual, and in depth look at Indian society through discussion with featured speaker, Assistant Professor of history, Aarti Nakra.

The event is free, open to the public and warmly welcomes all students. Visit the Student Event Center on the Taylorsville Redwood campus, Thursday, Mar. 11 at noon to uncover myths and learn facts.

On Monday, Mar 8, from 12:00-2:00 p.m. and again at 6:00-8:00 p.m., there will be two showings of the movie Monsoon Wedding, also at the Student Event Center.

Don't miss your chance to stop by for the entertainment, the food, and the opportunity to learn more and enter the Indian culture.
